The station area is defined by a central high-rise tower, flanked by two urban buildings that together form a distinctive urban ensemble. The tower acts as a visible landmark and mediates between large-scale architecture and the surrounding city through its articulated base.
The façades respond to their orientation: more closed and calm toward the tracks, and open toward the south and the public square. The two buildings complement the ensemble with office and residential uses, strengthening the relationship to the public realm.
A continuous arcade connects the buildings and accommodates public-oriented ground-floor uses. Open courtyards within the hybrid building provide daylight, ventilation, and spatial permeability.
The structural system follows an efficient skeletal framework, enabling flexible and long-term adaptable uses.

Der Entwurf des neuen Stadions integriert sich harmonisch in die umgebende Landschaft und Topografie. Die Gebäudegeometrie greift die charakteristische Flächigkeit des Sportparks und des Mauerparks auf und überführt sie in ein zeitgemäßes, barrierefreies Konzept. Der historische Kontext bleibt für die Nutzer erlebbar. Der zentrale Boulevard verbindet das Stadion mit den Sportpark-Gebäuden und schafft eine attraktive Begegnungs- und Aktivitätszone. Das asymmetrische Stadionvolumen öffnet sich zum Boulevard hin, während die Erschließung durch zwei Rampen entlang des Trümmerhügels eine uneingeschränkt inklusive Zugänglichkeit für alle Nutzer gewährleistet.
