The redevelopment at Bahnhofplatz gives Nuremberg’s main station a new urban and architectural identity. Two high-rise volumes, together with the elongated station building, frame a generous city entrance and create a clear, distinctive gateway.
On the western side, an ensemble of two independent building volumes is being developed. An eight-storey hotel with serviced apartments continues the block structure with a stepped stone façade and encloses a calm, high-quality courtyard.
A slender, 13-storey office tower addresses the station with a two-storey colonnade and offers terraces with views over the historic city. Both buildings are clad in regional limestone, translating local building typologies into a contemporary architectural language.

Der Entwurf des neuen Stadions integriert sich harmonisch in die umgebende Landschaft und Topografie. Die Gebäudegeometrie greift die charakteristische Flächigkeit des Sportparks und des Mauerparks auf und überführt sie in ein zeitgemäßes, barrierefreies Konzept. Der historische Kontext bleibt für die Nutzer erlebbar. Der zentrale Boulevard verbindet das Stadion mit den Sportpark-Gebäuden und schafft eine attraktive Begegnungs- und Aktivitätszone. Das asymmetrische Stadionvolumen öffnet sich zum Boulevard hin, während die Erschließung durch zwei Rampen entlang des Trümmerhügels eine uneingeschränkt inklusive Zugänglichkeit für alle Nutzer gewährleistet.
