Settlement Obstgarten
The project benefits from its unique hillside location, offering expansive views over the lake, surrounding mountains, and the broader landscape. Surrounded by green open spaces, the development integrates harmoniously with its environment, using the topography to create varying heights and sightlines.
The architectural concept combines an efficient, economical structure with a rich spatial experience. A gently curving panoramic pathway weaves between the buildings, acting as a connecting element between architecture and landscape. It provides orientation, structures the outdoor spaces, and helps define the identity of the neighborhood.
The buildings are oriented to ensure that every apartment enjoys the views while maintaining a high degree of privacy. Thoughtful placement of the structures creates diverse sightlines, retreat areas, and outdoor spaces. The result is a balanced interplay of openness, intimacy, and connection to nature, emphasizing the distinctive character of the site.
