Entrance and Control Building of a Correctional Facility
The PCA serves as the central gateway to the entire PPNV site, bringing together the flows of staff, logistics, and visitors. As the first point of contact, the building holds particular significance: it conveys both security and openness while adhering to the principles of humane detention. A clearly structured sequence from the parking area through the forecourt and into the building ensures intuitive orientation and avoids unclear or unsafe situations.
The entrance area is designed as a welcoming space, offering a high-quality waiting environment with seating, weather protection, and greenery. In addition, a visitor zone with a cafeteria, information services, and meeting spaces is envisioned. Integrated into a secure perimeter concept, the project combines functional requirements with social and spatial quality.

Der Entwurf des neuen Stadions integriert sich harmonisch in die umgebende Landschaft und Topografie. Die Gebäudegeometrie greift die charakteristische Flächigkeit des Sportparks und des Mauerparks auf und überführt sie in ein zeitgemäßes, barrierefreies Konzept. Der historische Kontext bleibt für die Nutzer erlebbar. Der zentrale Boulevard verbindet das Stadion mit den Sportpark-Gebäuden und schafft eine attraktive Begegnungs- und Aktivitätszone. Das asymmetrische Stadionvolumen öffnet sich zum Boulevard hin, während die Erschließung durch zwei Rampen entlang des Trümmerhügels eine uneingeschränkt inklusive Zugänglichkeit für alle Nutzer gewährleistet.
